SAI Performance Analyst Recruitment 2025: 24 Physiotherapy Vacancies | Syllabus & Salary

Status: Active | Post Name: Performance Analyst (Physiotherapy) | Salary: Pay Level 6

The Sports Authority of India (SAI) has released a massive notification for the recruitment of Performance Analysts across various National Centers of Excellence (NCOEs). This is arguably the biggest central government opportunity for Physiotherapists this year.

Unlike contract jobs, these are regular posts with a high salary package. Out of 48 total seats, 24 vacancies are exclusively for Physiotherapy. Whether you are a fresh BPT graduate or an MPT with sports experience, this guide covers everything you need to crack this exam.

💡 Why This Job is Special?

Most government physio jobs have 1 or 2 seats. SAI has released 24 seats specifically for Physios. This increases your selection chances by 10x compared to AIIMS or ESIC exams.

1. Vacancy Breakdown (Physiotherapy)

The recruitment is for the post of Performance Analyst. Here is the category-wise distribution for Physiotherapists:

Dr. Rohan's Selection Strategy (Expert View)

As a physiotherapist, here is my honest advice to crack this exam. Most candidates will score well in Section C (Physio subjects). The real competition is in Section B.

  1. Master "Other" Sciences: You must study basic Sports Nutrition (Macros, Hydration) and Sports Psychology (Anxiety, Motivation). Physiotherapists often ignore this and lose marks.
  2. Focus on Applied Biomechanics: Don't just read definitions. Understand levers, torque, and force vectors in gym exercises (e.g., Squat vs. Deadlift biomechanics).
  3. Read WADA Guidelines: There will likely be 1-2 questions on Anti-Doping rules. Read the basics of the WADA code.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Can BPT freshers apply for SAI Performance Analyst?

Yes, BPT freshers can apply. The 1-year experience is "Desirable" (preferred), not "Essential" (mandatory). If you score high in the CBT, you can be selected.

2. Is there an interview for this post?

No, the selection is based purely on the merit of the Computer Based Test (CBT). There is no interview stage.

3. What is the syllabus for the SAI Physiotherapy exam?

The syllabus includes General Aptitude, Basic Sports Science (Nutrition, Psychology, Biomechanics), and Core Physiotherapy subjects like Anatomy, Orthopedics, and Exercise Therapy.
